We came here on New Year's Eve to try a new Thai place. We've been beholden to Moon Thai for a few years and discovered this hidden gem tonight. Very homey feel. Open kitchen. Food made in front of our eyes. We got the Tom yum soup, chicken patay, cashew nut chicken, pad Thai and yellow curry. All very well done. Solid work. You're on our list now. We'll be regulars.

We were looking for a great late night Thai fix and stumbled soon East Thai and Noodle House. We knew florida had some of the best Thai restaurants, but I sure didn't expect East Thai to blow my expectations out of the water like it did. We ordered a lot of food so hold tight. - Thai wings: they were so sticky and so delicious. It was absolutely worth the messy fingers 5/5 - Roti: probably some of the best thai roti I have ever had. 5/5 - Hor Mok: this was the FIRST time I've ever heard of this dish and when I tell you I would love to eat this every. single. day.... It's an understatement. It is salmons steamed in a banana leaf with the most delicious curry you will EVER have. I'm not kidding. - Tom Khar Ramen: the lemongrass coconut broth was just hitting every tastebud that I have. 5/5 - Red Curry 5/5 Everything was so delicious but I recommend the Hor Mok the most. It is a MUST have!

I recommend this place 100x yes. Definitely a little hole on the wall. It was my first time coming here after a late night out. I felt like I was getting sick so I wanted to end my night with a bowl of soup but didn't know where to go on a Saturday night at 1am. After much search I wander upon this place and thank god I did. Our waiter was the sweetest friendliest soul ever. She recommended this soup to us did mention that was mild and typically I don't eat anything that has a mild taste to it but took hwe word for it and wow it was honestly so delicious definitely want I needed that night. I'll definitely come around often.

East Thai and noodle house was heartwarming and very enjoyable. The restaurant itself is very, very casual. Inside dinning area needs some TLC, but it is comfortable. We decided to eat in the back terrace since it is open and you have plenty of fresh air while not being right on the street. We ordered the summer rolls, chicken satay, chicken stir-fry, Tom khar with chicken, and the Ton khar ramen. Everything was delicious, and servings are rather generous. Also, please keep in mind that their heat level is rather high. So, if you don't tolerate spicy foods, ask for mild. Even the medium is a bit spicier than your usual. I had my Tom khar ramen spicy, and it was but I like it that way. If I had to say something about that soup, it was that the coconut milk sometimes overpowered the broth and made it too sweet. Service was friendly and fast.

It's fitting I came here after the Freestyle Reunion concert at the UM campus arena, as other than pizza there's no more appropriate food for late night after-party dining than noodles and thai! Side note, it's also next to another South Miami nightlife spot in case you wanted to continue the party. Besides the indoor area where I sat, they also have a nice little patio. Firstly, the hot sake was a perfect nightcap / hair of the dog after wine and cognac at the concert. The heat and amino acids actually enhance the different flavors of the spices traditionally associated with Asian cuisine, from what I've read (see I did pay attention to my chem class). Speaking of spices, I wanted to start with their chicken skewers. But since they were out at 1AM, the Thai style chicken wings were very much a winning substitution. The 5 pieces had plenty of meat and the sweet heat of the sauce hit my taste buds right. Part two was the perfectly sticky rice with scallions, some egg bits and plenty of grilled chicken pieces. Equally important is that they omitted any fishy components or sauces, showing care for my allergy. Of course make sure to try their Thai Donuts. Pillowy soft and a nice helping of condensed milk they made a sweet closing.
